Born in Nowata, Oklahoma in 1925, Ralph A. Crawford answered the call to preach while stationed in Italy and serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II.   Begining in 1949, Ralph A. Crawford pastored churches in Ryan, Enid, Ada, Del City, and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma and Southwestern Theological Seminary in Ft.Worth, Texas.

 

He retired in 1990 from the Olivet Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.  He was pastor of Olivet for over 25 years. He and his wife are currently members of the Council Road Baptist Church in Bethany, OK.

 

At age 83 he serves as Pastor Emeritus at Olivet and still preaches several times a year for churches in the Oklahoma City area that are without a pastor.
